An AI characteristic system of automatic batching silica fume, developed and installed by HKCC’s Engineering Department was successfully tested on 12th December 2010 at the batching plant in Yuen Long. The new batching system will improve the accuracy of adding silica fume for high strength and marine concretes as well increase the capacity of production, when silica fume is required.
